About the Sculpture
Ed Hogle, a U.S. Army Reserve veteran and co-founder of Steel Crazy Iron Art in Buffalo, NY, created the 911 Standing Tall Memorial to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
Standing 8 feet tall and mounted on a map of the United States, the memorial is crafted from stainless steel and engraved with the full names of every 9/11 victim. It also features the five U.S. military service emblems, symbolizing national unity and sacrifice.
Since its creation, the memorial has traveled to Ground Zero, the Pentagon, and Shanksville, PA, often accompanied by Patriot Guard Riders and law enforcement. Ed personally tows the sculpture across the country with his pickup truck to keep the memory of 9/11 alive.
Today, Ed and his team bring the memorial to communities nationwide, inspiring powerful moments of remembrance among fellow patriots and all those who pay tribute to 9/11.
We proudly support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and local firefighter and EMS organizations, donating 20% of all sales to their vital missions.
